Introduction
Welcome to my website! I’m Francis, 30 years young, a Rotterdammer at heart and above all a Digital Designer.
What started as a career in Graphic Design quickly grew into a wide design background including Web Design, Front-end Development and UX/UI Design. With over 10 years of experience in Design & Development I work at the intersection of creativity, technology and user experience. This allows me to look beyond just looks and consider how it works, why it works and who it is designed for.
Over the past years I have worked both in-house for large international companies as well as freelancer for smaller businesses. This variety has taught me to quickly dive into new challenges, combine different perspectives and always look for solutions that truly fit the user and the purpose.
And although my profession has evolved considerably over the years, one thing has remained the same: I still get just as much energy from creating as I always have.
Outside of work I also love being creative. I enjoy singing, acting, gaming, reading, cooking and baking and I’m always curious to discover something new. I also rarely turn down a good conversation over a freshly brewed coffee or a refreshing mint tea.
